Law enforcement officials are looking for Lisa Mitchell, who they say removed her GPS monitor after she was arrested on a murder charge in a North Richland Hills fentanyl overdose case.

According to Tarrant County court documents, Mitchell was arrested in September and was charged with murder in the death of Dustin Mowdy. Prosecutors allege that Mowdy died after using fentanyl that Mitchell provided to him. She was released on bond in November.

The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office said Mitchell is 35 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs about 230 pounds and has brown hair. Officials said Mitchell may still be in Fort Worth, but has the ability and connections to leave the area.

“She recently removed her court‑ordered ankle monitor and is actively evading law enforcement,” the Sheriff’s Office said in a social media post on Thursday.

The Sheriff’s Office is asking for anyone with information to call 911 or Tarrant County Crime Stoppers at 817-469-8477 or send a tip online.
