Ian Moore In Lubbock 2026

Ian Moore will perform with his band at Lubbock’s historic Cactus Theater (on a Friday!) April 17. It’s a beautiful venue for what will certainly be a beautiful performance, showcasing Ian’s songwriting prowess. Lyrically, the songs are pure poetry, and his guitar is achingly lovely. If you are new to Ian Moore, this bit from the Cactus Theater’s website gets it:

Ian is a triple threat and an artist’s artist. He came up in Austin, mentored by the  greats. Stevie Ray Vaughan famously gave him his first guitar, and you can hear  the lineage in his fingers, but then you hear that voice. “I was obsessed with the soul singers as a kid,” he says, and you can hear those influences in his silky  falsetto and his soulful phrasing. Spin magazine described him as a cross  between Aaron Neville and Jimi Hendrix, and that duality sets him apart from so  many other guitarists.

Need more Moore? His website is full of great merch, and even honey from Ian’s personal apiary. Could this guy get any Moore charming?
