LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The City of Lubbock Parks and Recreation Department is hosting its third annual Egg-Stravaganza. This event is free to attend and will include egg hunts designated by ages, a tabletop egg hunt for attendees with disabilities, field games, a Bunny Car Hop, and photo opportunities along the Bunny Stroll. Activities begin on Saturday, March 21, at 1:00 p.m. at Mae Simmons Community Center, located at 2004 Oak Avenue.
The ADA tabletop egg hunt will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. inside the Mae Simmons Senior Center, with eggs distributed at tabletop height throughout the egg-hunting space.
From 2:00 p.m. until the end of the event, egg hunts designated by age will take place every 20 minutes, with eggs replaced after each hunt.
The Bunny Car Hop, field games, and Bunny Stroll gives kids the chance to play games, participate in activities offered by vendors, and take pictures with the Easter bunny. For more details about this event, visit www.playlubbock.com or call (806) 775-2687.
