Construction is six weeks ahead of schedule, and they’re expecting to turn over units to buyers in summer 2027.
GALVESTON, Texas — One of the most anticipated projects in Galveston has reached a major milestone.
Tiara on the Beach, a 10-story condominium building on the island’s west end, celebrated its topping out on March 12.
On a cool and sunny day, Ludlow & Associates Construction workers hooked a small tree to a long hoist line, and a crane lifted it onto the structure’s roof to applause from construction workers and guests, symbolizing the completion of vertical construction.
The milestone comes 15 months after Houston-based Satya Inc. started construction on Galveston’s first major new condo development in nearly two decades and over four years after Satya first announced the project.
Satya acquired the 2.86-acre property at 10525 San Luis Pass Road in 2020 with no concrete plans yet for the development.
“In 2020, I bought a place in Miami, which was on the beach, and I said, ‘I need to bring that concept of Miami to Houston, to Galveston,’” Satya CEO Sunny Bathija told the Houston Business Journal.
