SAN ANTONIO – The southbound lanes of I-35 were closed near Somerset Rd. on Thursday morning due to a crash.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, at about 1:30 a.m. an 18-wheeler’s tire popped, causing it to lose control. The truck swerved into a grassy median and hit an overpass sign on the main lanes of I-35. The sign fell onto the highway, sparking a traffic nightmare.
