High school students took center stage in Austin, Texas, as the annual SXSW EDU conference continued and the Allstate Foundation hosted its third annual Student Impact Challenge.

The Student Impact Challenge is a live, youth-led competition where students pitch their social impact ventures for funding. The event brought student entrepreneurs to the main stage to present ideas aimed at making a difference in their communities.

Alex Quian of the Allstate Foundation took part in the event, along with Nandana Menon, last year’s Student Impact Challenge winner. Menon’s app, Spark, won the competition last year, and she returned this year as one of the judges.

The Allstate Foundation also had judges evaluating this year’s group of competitors, with Quian serving as a judge alongside Menon.

Viewers were encouraged to learn more about the Student Impact Challenge and the Allstate Foundation through the organization’s official information channels.
