Ortiz is an American-Mexican singer, songwriter and producer known as a leading figure in the Regional Mexican genre, particularly corridos and narcocorridos.
He is a two-time GRAMMY nominee and has earned multiple Billboard Latin Music Awards, with hits including “A la Moda.”
