HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A suspect was charged and arrested in the deadly stabbing of a man that happened at an apartment complex in southeast Houston earlier this month, according to the Houston Police Department.
HPD said that 18-year-old Luis Vasquez was charged with murder after reportedly stabbing and killing 41-year-old Talha Abdul.

The Houston Police Department stated that Luis Vazquez, 18, has been charged with murder.
The police department explained that on March 3 at about 7:30 p.m., officers responded to a call about a stabbing at 1201 Redford Street.
Authorities said that when they arrived at the apartments, they found the victim lying on a porch, suffering from multiple stab wounds. First responders pronounced him dead at the scene, authorities added.
HPD said that, according to security guards at the apartments, Vasquez and Abdul were fighting when the stabbing occurred.
Court documents allege that during the fight, Vasquez pulled out a knife, stabbed the victim, and said, Yeah, that’s what you get.”
Records show that Vasquez is expected to appear in court next week.
