AUSTIN, Texas — Two people were injured in a stabbing on a CapMetro bus on South Lamar Boulevard Friday afternoon, Austin police said.
Officers responded to shoot/stab hot shot call the 2000 block of South Lamar Blvd. around 1:34 p.m. and detained one person at the scene. That is just north of West Oltorf Street.
Austin-Travis County EMS transported two victims to local hospitals. One suffered non-life-threatening injuries; the second is in critical but stable condition.

The person detained was also taken to a hospital for an evaluation.
CapMetro confirmed it was a stabbing involving three people at that location.
The investigation is ongoing. CBS Austin has a crew on the way to the scene.
