WESTWORTH VILLAGE – Richard “Ross” Hyde of Fort Worth, Texas was united with his Lord and Savior on Friday, March 6, 2026. Ross was born December 19, 1955, to Anne and Richard Hyde. He was a proud Fort Worth native, attending Eastern Hills High School and playing football there. Ross went on to attend the University of Texas in Austin and was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He graduated in 1978 with a business degree. Ross instilled a love for sports and Longhorn events in his children. He was one of the most loving, funny, and charismatic people you could ever meet. He had a way of lighting up any room and making those around him feel loved. Ross was preceded in death by his parents, Anne and Richard Hyde. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Hyde; his five children, Richard Hyde, Jr. and wife, Brittany, Rachel Hyde, Sarah Caitlin Hyde Morales and husband, Luis, Whitt Hyde, and Lily Hyde; his grandchildren, Jackson, Lincoln, and Reese Hyde; his sister, Annie Laurie Hyde; and his brother, Robert Hyde. Ross wished to be remembered for his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, his fandom of the Texas Longhorns, and the pride he had in his children. He was an incredibly devoted member of All Saints Church Crestline. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at All Saints Church Crestline in Fort Worth, Texas.
