On Saturday, the San Antonio Spurs will play the Charlotte Hornets (in Texas).

The Spurs most recently lost to the Denver Nuggets (also at home) by a score of 136-131.

Victor Wembanyama did not play in the game.

For Saturday’s game, the Spurs could remain without Wembanyama.

The All-Star center is questionable.

Underdog NBA wrote: “Victor Wembanyama (ankle) listed questionable for Saturday.”

Wembanyama is averaging 24.2 points, 11.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.0 steals and 3.0 blocks per contest while shooting 50.6% from the field and 36.0% from three-point range in 51 games.

He is in his third season in the NBA (all with the Spurs).

The Spurs are one of the best teams in the NBA with a 48-18 record in 66 games, which has them as the second seed in the Western Conference.

They have won eight out of their last ten games (and are 25-7 at home).

Raul Dominguez Jr. wrote: “Dylan Harper has joined Victor Wembanyama as questionable for Saturday’s game against Charlotte. Harper had a bruised right calf while Wembanyama is battling right calf soreness.”

Following the Hornets, the Spurs will head on the road to visit Kawhi Leonard and the LA Clippers in California (on Monday).

In 2026, the Spurs are set to return to the NBA playoffs for the first time since 2019.

Hornets This Season

The Hornets come into their showdown with the Spurs as the 10th seed in the Eastern Conference with a 34-33 record in 67 games.

They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak (and have won eight out of their last ten).

Following the Spurs, the Hornets will play their next game on Tuesday when they host Bam Adebayo and the Miami Heat.
