Dale Vernon Travis, cherished husband, inspiring father, and steadfast friend, peacefully passed away at the age of 90.
Born June 19, 1935, Dale was known for his patience, kindness, and understanding. His greatest strength was his love for Jesus Christ and his family, whom he supported and cared for throughout his life. He was a steady presence and the soul of the Travis family.
Dale is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Beck Travis, and their children, Dale Vernon Travis II, James Beck Travis, and Lori Travis Steele. In accordance with Dale’s wishes, friends and loved ones are invited to celebrate his life at Lake Ridge Chapel (6025 82nd Street, Lubbock, TX 79424) on Thursday, March 19, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
A private burial ceremony will be held for his immediate family.
