FORT WORTH – Consuelo Bolanoz Valdez “Chelo” left this world peacefully on Sunday, March 8, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Service: 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 20, 2026 at St Ann Catholic Church of Burleson. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Mount Olivet Chapel. Consuelo was born on April 17, 1949 in Mexico, the daughter of Augustine and Vicenta Bolanoz. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Consuelo loved to take care of her family; whether it was to feed or take care of us when we were sick. Her grandkids were her world, every time one came around her day was complete. She was proceeded in death by her loving husband, Charlie Alonzo Valdez Sr.; her parents, Augustine and Vicenta Bolanoz; her grandmother, Navor Mendez; and her two sisters, Maria De La Luz Padilla and Maria Teresa Rodriguez. Consuelo is survived by her loving children and grandchildren, Sonia Flores, Christina Valdez, Melissa Pedroza, Leonor Vargas, Charlie Valdez Jr., and Melinda Cantu; ten grandchildren, Steven, Stephanie, Augustine, Nicholas, John, Roberto, Charlie, Elena, Mallory, and Ismael Jr.; and numerous extended family and friends.
