After a brief cold front Thursday, the high on Friday will notably rise to 77 degrees, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office. Saturday and Sunday should be even warmer, with highs in the low 80s.

Sunny skies should persist throughout the weekend, but gusting winds may produce a chill. They’ll start moderately Friday start moderate at 20 miles per hour before climbing to 28 miles per hour Saturday. Sunday brings a blistering 41 miles per hour.

These windy but bright conditions will be the backdrop for Dallas’ annual St. Patrick’s Day festivities and the Java House Grand Prix of Arlington, events likely to bring a lot of Texans outdoors to enjoy early spring days.
