I-10 West shut down after 5-vehicle crash near Mile Marker 26; traffic exits at Airway

EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14/CBS4) — A multi-vehicle crash has closed Interstate 10 westbound near Hawkins on Thursday morning, forcing drivers to exit at Airway.

Officers responded to the collision on I-10 west after a call came in at 8:41 a.m. Authorities said about five vehicles are involved.

I-10 west remains closed as the response continues, with traffic being diverted off the interstate at Airway.
