View Tribute Book Linda Anne Batchelor, 83, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. Linda was born on July 14, 1942, in Dallas, Texas, to Melissa Hiatt and Elbert Rowe Rice. She grew up with a deep love for family and faith that remained the foundation of her life. A devoted mother and grandmother, Linda was proud to serve as the matriarch of her family. Her home was always a place of warmth, encouragement, and love for her children, grandchildren, and extended family. She was a faithful member of the River Trail Ward of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where her faith and service were an important part of her life. Linda enjoyed playing the piano, reading, working crossword puzzles, and was an avid genealogist who loved learning about family history and preserving it for future generations. She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandson, Ryan Matthew Harrison. Linda is survived by her son, Michael David Crews; daughters, Mary Elizabeth Wilkinson, Rebecca Lynn Denke, and her husband, Danny; Rachel Anne Harrison and her husband, Doug; ten grandchildren; and a host of extended family members and friends who will cherish her memory. Services: A visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. with a service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2026 at the Hurst Texas Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 4401 N.E. Loop 820, North Richland Hills, Texas. Interment: 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at Mission Park Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas. Linda will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her faith, and the quiet strength that guided her life.
