At the heart of their menu is masa — made fresh in-house every day, using corn sourced from small family farms in Mexico. By elevating natural and clean ingredients, ATX Cocina delivers bold, authentic flavors while remaining 100% gluten-free and seed oil free, making their delicious dishes approachable for all.
“So, you know, we wanted to bring modern Mexican cuisine while staying true to the traditional ingredients that have been passed down through generations, but put a modern twist on them. We’ve been open since 2017. We’re a gluten-free restaurant and now also seed-oil free. That’s who we are, along with our sister restaurant, Boulevard, over at the Arboretum. We focus mostly on our corn — we go out every morning to get fresh corn, make our masa in-house, and make sure it’s perfect. From the very beginning, it’s all about making sure everything is done right.”
Executive Chef Daniel Chacon embodies the restaurant’s dedication to craft and culture. Starting as a line cook and working his way up to Executive Chef, Chacon brings his family’s passion for cooking to every plate.
“From day one, I worked my way up from line cook to sous chef, then CDC, and now executive chef. I’m so fond of this place — I love everything about it: the people, the food, and the culture. It’s just so great.” he shared.
