A crash along Almeda Road near Hepburn Street leaves one dead, according to Houston police.
HOUSTON — One person is dead after a crash involving a motorcycle and a van near NRG Stadium Saturday afternoon, according to the Houston Police Department.
Police said the crash happened around 4:42 p.m. along Almeda Road near Hepburn Street.
Authorities say the crash involved a motorcyclist and a van. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, though investigators have not yet confirmed whether the victim was the motorcyclist or the driver of the van.
The crash scene remains active as officers work to investigate what led up to the collision.
