Free-agent quarterback Russell Wilson took his son, Future, on his first campus visit to Texas after spending the 2025 season with the New York Giants.
“‘Hook’Em!’ Fun time! Future’s first campus visit!” Wilson wrote in a post on X.
They went on a tour of the Longhorns’ football and baseball facilities during the visit, meeting up with head coach Steve Sarkisian.
Wilson previously played baseball in college and was selected by the Colorado Rockies in the fourth round of the 2010 MLB draft, suiting up in 61 games with Single-A Asheville throughout the 2011 season before ultimately entering the NFL in 2012.
The 10-time Pro Bowler appeared in six contests with the Giants last year, completing 58.0 percent of his throws for 831 yards and three touchdowns to go along with three interceptions.
While Wilson currently remains a free agent, he isn’t planning on retiring ahead of the 2026 season.
