North Texas, where Arlington is located, will indeed experience strong winds this afternoon in the United States, which is driving theIndyCar to start the race an hour earlier than planned, at 11am local time (17pm in France). Marcus Ericsson (Andretti Global) will start from pole position, alongside the reigning three-time IndyCar champion, Álex Palou (Chip Ganassi Racing).

For its first visit to the streets of Arlington, the championship hopes everything goes perfectly, given the high stakes. Indeed, Penske Entertainment, the company that owns IndyCar, has partnered with the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers franchises to create this new type of race, which winds its way between the two stadiums of the American football and baseball teams.

A resounding success would allow IndyCar to forge other partnerships of this type, and increase the championship’s presence in key American markets.
