Green flag, Ericsson wins the race out of turn one. Palou holds 2nd.
Christian Lundgaard spins in turn five, no caution.
Lap 17, Ericsson and Palou head for the pit lane. It’s a slow stop for Ericsson and he loses several seconds to Palou.
Lap 23, Power pits for the first time from the lead. He’s the only car to run a full fuel stint on soft tires. Multiple pit strategies are in play.
Malukas and Newgarden tangle in a battle for 8th. Newgarden spins, no caution.

16 to go, Kirkwood has closed the gap to just 0.4 seconds in the battle for the win. Kirkwood makes a late dive inside of Palou into turn 14! He clears him, Kirkwood to the lead!
