Dallas Express Sports Network got a rare behind-the-scenes look at the 98th Academy Awards with actress Nellie Sciutto, who took viewers inside preparations for the Oscars’ Governors Ball.

Reporting from the kitchen, Sciutto spoke with celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck and his culinary team as they prepared the massive menu served to stars immediately after the awards ceremony.

Puck and his chefs described the wide variety of dishes planned for the event, including sushi, tempura, pasta, steak, macaroni and cheese, chicken pot pie, and specialty ingredients like black truffles.

The team also showcased an elaborate dessert station featuring macarons, apple strudel, chocolate mousse, and cream-filled pastries.

The Governors Ball is one of Hollywood’s most exclusive celebrations, where award winners and nominees gather after the ceremony.
