Paul Lietz and Manuel Rangel each face sexual assault charges in connection with allegations that they assaulted their patients.

AUSTIN, Texas — Austin police on Monday announced the arrests of two physical therapists in separate sexual assault cases.  

Police said Paul Lietz and Manuel Rangel each face sexual assault charges in connection with allegations that they assaulted their patients.  

According to investigators, Lietz works as a physical therapist in the Mueller area, while Rangel previously worked as a physical therapist in the Medical Parkway area.  

Police said that because of the sensitive nature of the cases, additional details are not being released. Both investigations remain open and active.
