The RockShow with Chrissy and Wes asked Lubbock listeners to reveal something they ruined that still bothers them, and the answers were either painfully relatable or bizarre and hilarious.
Let’s get into it.
Some regrets go way back to our childhood. One man told us he still thinks about the day he smashed his GameBoy after getting angry during a game of Ninja Gaiden. I mean, that game was insanely hard. But I doubt that was a good excuse for Mom at the time. Oops.
For others, regret simply came down to timing.
One listener bought a lottery ticket, scratched it, lost, and watched the next guy in line win $100,000. That’s just the cruddy luck of the draw, man. You can’t beat yourself up too badly over it, but man, you want to.

Some mistakes in life come from trying to be creative. A woman shared a story of switching baking soda for baking powder in a carrot cake recipe. She learned the hard way that those two items are nothing alike, despite the similar names. Things overflowed, smoke filled the house, and the finished product was not edible. Bummer.
