LUBBOCK, Texas (KLTV) – Former Tyler Legacy Red Raider Dakota McCaskill earned his first win of the season on Friday in Lubbock Christian’s 8-7 victory over Texas A&M International.
The senior has a 4.30 ERA in 14 2/3 innings pitched this season.
McCaskill started on the mound. He pitched 6 1/3 innings, allowing four runs on three hits while striking out one and walking two.
Lubbock Christian has won six games in a row and improved to 14-12 overall. The Chaparrals head to Kingsville, Texas, on Friday for a four-game series against Texas A&M-Kingsville.
