CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Katelyn Yeager appeared in the 319th District Court today before Judge David Stith for a status hearing in her intoxication manslaughter case. During the hearing, the case was re-set, with no major developments reported.

Yeager is accused of driving under the influence and fatally striking a motorcyclist, 30-year-old Andrew Magill, in December 2024.

Authorities responded to the crash on Saratoga around 10 p.m., that night finding Magill with severe injuries. He was transported to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

In addition to intoxication manslaughter, Yeager faces charges of resisting arrest and assault of a peace officer.

Her case has not yet been indicted, and the district attorney’s office is being contacted for further updates.

We will continue to follow the case and provide updates as more information becomes available.
