There’s no shortage of picks for the best food spots in New Orleans and popular food influencer Blondeswhoeat, aka Kristi Keith, is the latest media personality to weigh in.

Keith, a Dallas-based influencer with hundreds of thousands of followers across popular social media platforms, recently reviewed po-boys, ramen and deli sandwiches from several popular Crescent City stops, making her picks for some of the city’s best eats.

Po-boy rundown

Keith knew she had to try po-boys while down in New Orleans. After she received multiple recommendations, Keith went to a couple of classic spots for the famed sandwich: Parkway Bakery & Tavern in Bayou St. John, Domilise’s in Uptown and Bear’s in Metairie.

After trying all three, she said Bear’s was her favorite thanks to its plentiful sauces, saying the roast beef po-boy was made even better when she added extra dipping gravy and hot sauce.

“This is my kind of sandwich,” Keith said.

Nomiya

Keith also loved her order of half-spice Geki-Kara ramen at Uptown’s Nomiya, rating the ramen a 10 out of 10.

While she struggled not to spill the broth, Keith said she felt like she had to go to Japan “immediately” to try some more ramen.

Stein’s

Keith also tried beloved Lower Garden District deli Stein’s, tasting a classic egg salad sandwich while her boyfriend ordered a Rachel.

The Rachel ended up as the couple’s clear favorite.

“I’m not a big Reuben or pastrami lover so I absolutely did not want what he was ordering… until I tried it, loved it and he said tough luck lol but the egg salad sandwich on sour dough was yummy!,” Keith said on Instagram.

It wasn’t clear yet if Keith would be trying additional New Orleans spots while on her trip. The food blogger has tested dozens of spots across the U.S. and internationally, recently making stops in Paris and Amsterdam.
