State Highway 114 shut down in both directions due to ‘police activity,’ officials say

IRVING, Texas — Part of State Highway 114 has been shut down in Irving due to “police activity,” officials say.

Traffic camera footage shows that part of the highway has been closed in both directions between Highway 183 and Tom Braniff Drive.

It’s not yet known exactly what police activity is underway or how long the closure will last.
