HOUSTON (KLTV) – Former White Oak Roughneck Landyn Grant picked up his first win of the season in Texas Southern’s 15-9 victory over Jackson State on Saturday.
Grant is in his first season with Texas Southern after transferring from Prairie View A&M.
Grant entered the game in the sixth inning. He pitched two innings, allowing no runs on one hit while striking out two.
Texas Southern is 7-9 overall and 2-1 in conference play. The Tigers host Texas A&M-Victoria on Tuesday.
