The pedestrian who was killed by a driver near North Buckner Boulevard and Gross Road has been identified by the Dallas County Medical Examiner as 60-year-old Linda Louise Knowles.

Knowles died after being hit by a vehicle while walking across the street at 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 12. Her death was ruled as an accident by the medical examiner, but Dallas Police arrested the driver, 21-year-old Carnell Watkins. Watkins is facing a charge of intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle, according to The Dallas Morning News.
