RUSK – Kenneth Ray Walker, 85, passed away on March 13, 2026. Kenneth was born on May 11, 1940, in Ponder, Texas, to parents, Otis James and Etta Ann Walker. He lived in multiple cities across Texas which included Cleburne, Decatur, Fort Worth, and Rusk, Texas. He was married to LaVerne Walker for 68 years and together they had three sons named, Jeffery, Keith and Joey. Kenneth worked at Mosites Rubber Company for 38 1/2 years as a production supervisor before retiring at the age of 63. In his free time, Kenneth enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and spending time with LaVerne. Kenneth was preceded by his parents, Otis James and Etta Ann Walker; brothers, Otis and Howard Walker; sisters, Katherine Turner and Margaret Walker; son, Joey Walker; and grandchildren, Malachi and Crystal Walker. He is survived by his wife, LaVerne Walker; sons, Jeffery Walker and his wife, Denise, and Keith Walker and his wife, Barbee; brother, Donald Walker; grandchildren, Courtney Walker, Cecily Walker, Colt Jeffery Walker, T.K. Walker, and Tanner Walker; and great-grandchildren, Christian Scott Jones, Olivia Nunez, Sierra Suggs, Joseph DeHart, Ella Walker, Micha Walker and Dillon Walker.
