SAN ANTONIO – The U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force is asking for the public’s help in locating a San Antonio man accused of violating the conditions of his federal supervised release.

Authorities say Jason Aaron Brookover, 50, previously served 60 months in federal prison after being convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm.

After completing his prison sentence, Brookover was required to serve three years of supervised release. Investigators say he is now wanted for violating those conditions.

According to the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, Brookover allegedly failed to comply with supervision requirements after repeatedly testing positive for amphetamines and methamphetamine during court-ordered drug testing.

Officials also say he attempted to tamper with a sweat patch drug monitoring device and failed to follow mandatory substance abuse monitoring requirements.

Brookover is described as being 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing approximately 180 pounds. He has several distinctive tattoos, including two stars on his chest, tribal symbols on his right shoulder, and an eye with wings on his left calf.

Authorities say his last known location was in the far north side area of San Antonio.
