Traffic Alert: All eastbound lanes of I-635 closed at US 75, officials say

An incident closed all the eastbound lanes of Interstate 635 at US 75, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.

DALLAS — An incident shut down all the eastbound lanes of Interstate 35E near the High Five, officials said. 

The incident was reported just before the morning commute on Tuesday, March 17, according to the Texas Department of Transportation. 

All eastbound lanes of the interstate remained closed around 7:30 a.m., officials said. Traffic was allowed onto the express lanes to bypass the closure, according to TxDOT cameras. 

It’s not clear what the nature of the incident was that prompted the closure.
