LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Starting Thursday, March 19, 2026, the City of Lubbock will be performing erosion repairs located on Canyon Lake Drive near the Lake 6 Dam.
The city says this project will repair areas that have been eroded and install infrastructure to reduce future maintenance.
This closure will begin on Thursday, and will close one lane with two-way traffic being maintained throughout construction.
Citizens are encouraged to drive with caution and to avoid the area if possible.
