Choking a Pregnant Mother and Fleeing Police
26-year-old Izaya Lozano was charged with assaulting a pregnant person after he allegedly engaged in a heated argument with a victim back in July 2025. Once the conversation turned violent, the victim claimed that Lozano began punching her in the face several times before he proceeded to choke her.

The second time that Lozano was accused of assaulting a pregnant person was one month later in August against the same woman. According to court documents, the altercation started after the woman added a person he didn’t like on Snapchat.
He then proceeded to strike her several times with both open and closed fists after telling her, “I told you what was going to happen if I ever found stuff like this on your phone,” Everything Lubbock reported.
High Speed Chase
Shortly after these assaults took place, officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on Lozano after he was seen attending a large gathering comprised of many known gang members.

Instead of stopping for the police, Lozano began increasing his speed, engaging the pursuing law enforcement on a police chase. During the pursuit, Lozano was seen tossing a black bag out of the window, later discovered to be filled with marijuana.
The police chase ended near 48th Street after Lozano and his passenger, Abby Trotter with whom he had a relationship, escaped the cops on foot after ditching their vehicle.
