A minor fire has led to the temporary closure of a Jim’s Restaurant on San Antonio’s Northeast Side. The San Antonio Fire Department told MySA that crews arrived at Jim’s Restaurant on Loop 410 near Perrin Beitel on Friday, October 24, to find fire coming from the roof.

The early morning fire appeared to come from a piece of cooking equipment, SAFD said, and there was no structural involvement. The fire was put out within 10 minutes, and no injuries were reported. However, the exact cause of the fire is under investigation. This specific Jim’s location is currently listed as closed on Google Business. MySA gave the restaurant a call on Friday, and the staff confirmed it is closed “just for today,” and plans to reopen on Saturday, October 25. Standard hours are from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
