A Harris County deputy was injured in a crash with an 18-wheeler and an EMS vehicle. The deputy was hospitalized but is expected to recover.
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A Harris County deputy was injured in a crash involving an 18-wheeler and an EMS vehicle in north Harris County on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened near West Hardy Road and Aldine Bender Road around 3 p.m.
Officials said the deputy was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to be OK. It’s unclear whether anyone else was transported.
Authorities have not released details on what led up to the crash.
