Humble ISD officials are hosting a community listening session to give residents a chance to share comments, suggestions and concerns with district leadership.

The listening session will be held March 26 from 5:30-7 p.m. at Woodcreek Middle School—14600 Woodson Park Drive, Houston—according to a March 4 news release.

Officials said district representatives will not respond to questions or comments during the session, per the release. However, they said all comments will be reviewed and considered by the district’s Community Engagement Advisory Committee, which provides guidance to the superintendent.

District officials said community members can also submit comments online through the district’s webpage. They noted officials are seeking feedback on the following questions:

What is working well in HISD?What should HISD continue or strengthen?What are your concerns about HISD?In what ways can HISD better support students?The form to submit comments online will remain open through April 2, per the release.

The district will continue to host listening sessions in the future, with the next session planned for September.
