SAN ANTONIO – A previously convicted sex offender has been arrested yet again on sex charges.
According to the Atascosa County Sheriff’s Office, Charles DeSalem was arrested on Tuesday near the corner of Majestic Oaks Drive and Menchaca Lane, near Poteet.
In a post made to Facebook, the sheriff’s office says that DeSalem is already a registered sex offender who has previously been convicted of two charges.
He has since been indicted by a grand jury for possession of child pornography, with two previous convictions.
DeSalem was booked into the Atascosa County Jail without incident.
