Power outages reported across parts of Sinton Tuesday night

Parts of Sinton are dealing with power outages Tuesday night, including areas toward Odem. No timetable yet for a return.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Parts of Sinton are currently experiencing power outages Tuesday night according to Sinton City Manager John Hobson.

Hobson said power is out in portions of the city, though some residents have reported their electricity has already been restored.

San Patricio County Sheriff Oscar Rivera told 3NEWS that crews are working to restore service.

According to AEP Texas, about 248 customers in Sinton remain without power.

It is still unclear what caused the outage.
