Three Dallas restaurants failed health inspections, and roaches and rodent droppings were found at others, according to data from the city compiled by the Star-Telegram.

The report includes data from Feb. 22 through March 7 and the results of 452 health inspections.

Dallas food establishments are scored on a 100-point system that is different from Fort Worth. A range of 90-100 is considered very good. Scores of 60-69 are failing and require a follow-up inspection within 10 days or closure. Anything under 60 is unacceptable and requires closure and inspection before reopening.

Three restaurants failed health inspectionsSunset Crab Shack Inc, at 534 Sunset Ave. Score: 61.Cavalli, at 18111 Dallas Parkway Suite 100. Score: 62.Sabor Quindio, at 11411 E. Northwest Highway Suite 103. Score: 69.

Nine restaurants needed re-inspections:

Restaurant Leylita #2, at 2330 Royal Lane Suite 600. Score: 70.Tops Cafe Midway, at 18217 Midway Road Suite 120. Score: 70.La Familia, at 17602 Kelly Blvd. Suite 110 Dallas. Score: 72.Tacos & Miches, at 534 S. Riverfront Blvd. Score: 73.Jerry’s Supermarket, at 532 W. Jefferson Blvd. Score: 74.Jolly Jolly Bakery, at 9241 Skillman St. Suite 104. Score: 75.Underdog Restaurant And Sports Club, at 6750 Abrams Road Suite 110. Score: 75.Pecan Lodge, at 2702 Main St. Score: 76.Wava Halal Grill, at 3611 Greenville Ave. Suite A. Score: 76.

Two restaurants were issued citations:

Popeyes at 8035 Forest Lane was issued a citation after the grease trap was not being serviced. The eatery scored 87 and received final notice for employees not having food handler certificates, and a second notice to fix the warming station.Simcha Kosher Catering, at 6324 Churchill Way, received a citation after most items in the reach-in-cooler including rice, beans, cooked meat and other food items were not dated. The eatery scored 82.

Rodent droppings were found at:

Lake Highlands Baptist Church Kitchen, at 642 Brookhurst Drive. Health inspectors found mouse droppings between cabinets and a refrigerator in the kitchen and on a shelf by the stove. The kitchen scored 82.

Roaches were observed at six food establishments:

Aso Rock Market, at 10061 Whitehurst Drive Suite 101. Score: 80. Health inspectors observed roaches throughout the establishment.Jessben Irishman Llc, at 18101 Preston Road Suite 102. Score: 80. Health inspectors observed a dead roach in the mop room.Norma’s Cafe, at 17721 Dallas Parkway Suite 130. Score: 80. Roaches were seen throughout the walls of the kitchen.Zio’s Al’s Pizza & Pasta, at 15340 Dallas Parkway Suite 2010. Score: 80. Inspectors observed roaches by the three-compartment sink.El Norteno, at 306 E. Saner Ave. Score: 88. Roaches were seen near the kitchen door.Los Primos Tacos & More Llc, at 5012 Sharp St. Suite B. Score: 91. Dead roaches were found in the food preparation area and gaps between the front door and garage door.
