What was your most interesting job before going into real estate?
I spent years around the international entertainment world through my husband’s career as his manager. It gave me a fascinating perspective on high-level professionalism, discretion, branding and relationship-building skills.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up between cultures. My background is French, British and Malagasy, and that international upbringing shaped how I see the world. It taught me adaptability, curiosity and the ability to connect with people from very different backgrounds. I would say it is something that has become incredibly valuable in a diverse city like Houston.
Growing up, what did you want to be?
Something entrepreneurial. I’ve always liked the idea of being an underdog that no one saw coming.
What do you do to relax when you’re stressed?
I spend time with my daughter, go to the beach with her, garden or reorganize spaces. There’s something very calming about creating order and beauty in an environment, which, ironically, is also part of what I love about real estate.
If you could meet any well-known figure (living or not), who would it be and why?
Probably someone like Coco Chanel. She built an empire with elegance, resilience and a very strong personal brand, and those are qualities I deeply admire.
What is Houston’s best kept secret?
How international the city truly is. Houston is one of the most diverse cities in the world, and that global energy shows up in its food, architecture, neighborhoods and real estate opportunities.
What do you love most about the industry?
Real estate sits at the intersection of lifestyle, wealth-building and human connection. One day you might be advising an investor, and the next you’re handing keys to a first-time buyer whose life is about to change. That balance between strategy and emotion is what makes the work meaningful.
What is the most difficult aspect of your job?
Managing expectations in a fast-moving market while protecting clients’ long-term interests. My role is not just to close deals, it’s to advise strategically and as much as some truths are hard to deliver, we still need to convey them.
What’s your best advice for generating new leads?
Everyone has their style, some more aggressive than others, but mine is to focus on relationships, not transactions. When people trust your expertise and integrity, referrals follow naturally.
What are you binge-watching/reading/listening to?
I enjoy shows and podcasts about psychology, interior design and market trends. Understanding people is just as important as understanding real estate.
Architecturally speaking, what is your favorite building in Houston?
Houston Public Library in downtown Houston. It reminds me that even in a modern city, architecture can still carry history, artistry and quiet sophistication.
What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?
Despite being surrounded by high-profile environments in the entertainment world, I genuinely love working with first-time homebuyers. I built my own real estate journey from the ground up, so helping someone buy their very first home is incredibly rewarding.
What is your favorite vacation spot and why?
Anywhere near the ocean. Growing up on an island around different cultures makes the sea feel like home.
In 10 words or less, what is your advice for someone new to the industry?
Build trust, stay disciplined and master your market.
