MACC’s Primer Cumple

The Mexican American Cultural Center will mark its first anniversary with a family-friendly celebration featuring games, snacks and guided tours of the center’s gallery exhibits. The event will also include a performance of “Las Mañanitas” by Harmony Schools Music Clubs accompanied by Mariachi Excelencia, along with cake, a piñata and music.

Third Thursdays in the Downtown Arts District

El Paso Pro-Musica presents ‘The Biriba Union’

The El Paso Pro-Musica concert series will feature the Biriba Union, an ensemble led by cellist Mike Block of the Silk Road Project. The trio blends original compositions with influences from Brazilian and Latin American traditions, hip-hop and American roots music, with an emphasis on jazz improvisation. The group will also perform at the free Bach’s Lunch program at noon Friday, March 20, at the El Paso Museum of Art, 1 Arts Festival Plaza.

Landscape Expo

El Paso Water will host its annual Landscape Expo, offering guidance on water-smart landscaping for homes in the desert environment. The free, family-friendly event will feature landscape experts sharing tips on irrigation, plant selection and sustainable garden design, along with interactive garden activities for children, soil testing information and “ask the expert” resource tables.

Chamizal National Memorial tour

Visitors can join a free guided tour of Chamizal National Memorial exploring the shifting course of the Rio Grande and the international dispute it created between the United States and Mexico. The tour will include a walk through the memorial grounds, stories about the Chamizal community and an opportunity to visit the site’s museum.

Change Makers 2026: Women in the Arts

The annual Women’s History Month celebration presented by Progress321 and El Paso Matters this year will honor women whose creative work or advocacy has shaped the arts across the Borderland, including artists, musicians, writers, performers, filmmakers, designers and arts supporters.

Featured speaker is Grammy-nominated instrumentalist, vocalist and composer Amanda Ekery, who grew up in El Paso.

¡Viva La Causa!

The Mexican American Cultural Center will host a community event honoring the farm worker movement and leaders César Chávez, Dolores Huerta and Larry Itliong. The program will include creative workshops and informational sessions focused on the history and ongoing legacy of agricultural labor organizing.

UTEP Dinner Theatre presents ‘Rent’

The UTEP Dinner Theatre will stage Jonathan Larson’s rock musical “Rent,” which follows a group of young artists navigating love, creativity and hardship in New York’s Lower East Side during the HIV/AIDS crisis. The production contains mature themes and is recommended for adult audiences.

Mission Valley Earth Day Celebration

The city of El Paso will host a free Earth Day celebration in the Mission Valley featuring food, games and live entertainment, including performances by DJ Johnny Kage and Mazo Vibe. The event will also include free pet adoptions and family-friendly activities.

Community Planting at La Semilla

Borderland BeerFest 2026

BTS at Sun Bowl Stadium

Global K-pop superstars BTS will make their first appearance in El Paso as part of their 2026 world tour, performing two nights at Sun Bowl Stadium. The shows mark the group’s return to the stage following a multi-year hiatus while members completed mandatory military service in South Korea.
