In celebration of its 10th anniversary, the Hello Kitty Food Truck is keeping the party going in Houston this weekend with exclusive merchandise and sweet treats as the first of three stops in the city.

It’s hard to overstate the sheer scale of Hello Kitty. What began as a simple illustration on a vinyl coin purse has evolved into a global phenomenon stretching every corner of pop culture. We aren’t just talking about cute stationery anymore; Hello Kitty is simply ubiquitous: everywhere from TV series to music albums.

In an effort to bring Hello Kitty to the people, the company launched the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck. Since 2014, the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck has toured across the country offering hot-ticket merchandise, accessories, and a vibrant array of food and drinks.

This weekend, the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will return to Houston in the first of three stops in the Houston area. On Saturday, March 21, visitors can find the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck at Katy Mills mall from 10 am – 7 pm. at 5000 Katy Mills.

The cafe truck will offer a range of merchandise and accessories. Regarding the latter, the truck will offer everything from 50th anniversary patch sets to pin, key chains, mugs, tumblers, plush dolls, and thermal bottles. Additionally, the truck will be selling various shirts and sweaters.

Food and beverages for sale at the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck include macarons, cookies, madeleines, and Hello Kitty Cafe Giant Chef Cookies.

If you can’t make the party this weekend, don’t fear. The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will be making two additional stops in the Houston area. It’s next Houston-area visit will take place at the Baybrook Mall in Friendswood from 10 am – 7 pm on March 28. On Saturday, April 4, the truck will stop by Sugar Land’s First Colony Mall at 16535 Southwest Freeway.
