Gilmer Police urge residents to contact Texas Game Warden for raccoon issues

The Gilmer Police Department says it has received several calls about raccoons and other wild animals within city limits.

Officials remind residents that Animal Control handles domesticated animals only and does not respond to wildlife calls.

For assistance with wild animals, residents are advised to contact a Texas Game Warden, the agency responsible for wildlife concerns.
