Jurors heard from witnesses on Tuesday, who described seeing the vehicle where the victims were found, along with testimony from officers involved in the investigation. Bodycam and dashcam video from the initial welfare check and crime scene were also shown in court, prompting emotional reactions from the victims’ families.

Preciado has pleaded not guilty, and his attorneys argue there is not enough evidence to prove he intentionally carried out the killings.

The trial is expected to continue into next week.
