Twenty years after cutting her teeth on symphonic pop in the Polyphonic Spree, St. Vincent is stepping onto the world’s grandest stages with full orchestras.

This week, Lake Highlands High grad Annie Clark announced a 15-city symphonic tour as well as an adventurous new album Live in London!, recorded last year at the Royal Albert Hall with the 60-piece Jules Buckley Orchestra.

The 19-song digital album comes out Friday, featuring a mix of classics such as “Digital Witness” and “New York,” and deep cuts like “The Bed” and “Black Rainbow” from her 2009 album Actor. She’ll kick off her classical tour June 2 with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and will end it Aug. 2 in Los Angeles with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra.

Along the way, she’ll also collaborate with the New York Philharmonic (July 2 at Lincoln Center), the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (July 25 at Ravinia) and the San Francisco Symphony (July 30 at Davies Symphony Hall). No word yet on whether she plans to perform with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra.
