The Democrat DHS Shutdown is impacting travel once again out of Houston.
As of 6am Thursday morning several TSA checkpoints had wait times of an hour or longer. You can track those wait times HERE.
This comes after staffing issues caused wait times as long as three hours at Hobby airport last week. More than 50% of TSA workers at Hobby had called in sick after missing paychecks due to the shutdown. And on Monday, nearly 40% of TSA officers called out sick, forcing the closure of one checkpoint at one of the world’s busiest airports in Atlanta.
Democrats have voted against re-opening DHS several times since the shutdown began in the middle of February.
