Magnolia at the Modern: Sirāt
In Sirāt, a nominee for Best International Film at the 2026 Oscars, a father and his son arrive at a rave in southern Morocco. They are searching for Mar — their daughter and sister — who vanished months ago at one of these endless, sleepless parties. Surrounded by electronic music and a raw, unfamiliar sense of freedom, again and again they hand out her photo. Hope is fading, but they push through and follow a group of revelers heading to one last party in the desert. The film will screen six times through Sunday at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.
Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra presents “Jane Glover Conducts FWSO Stars”
Acclaimed British conductor Jane Glover will lead the way for this concert, featuring Beethoven’s Symphony No. 4. There will be three performances through Sunday at Bass Performance Hall.
Randy Houser in concert
Mississippi country singer Randy Houser may not be a household name for fans of the genre, but he’s had a more than respectable career. He had three top 10 albums on the Billboard Country charts in the early-to-mid-2010s, scoring with hits like “How Country Feels,” “Runnin’ Outta Moonlight,” and “We Went.” He has released six albums in his career, most recently Note to Self in 2022.
