There are several events taking place in the Lake Houston area this spring, including spring concerts and a flower festival. This list is not comprehensive. Events are subject to change.

5k Turtle Trot

This second annual 5K walk/run through the Kingwood greenbelt will benefit the Houston Area Parkinson Society.

Head to Kings Harbor for an evening of live music performed by Party On!

Kingwood Millennial Block Party

This event will feature a cookout, a DJ playing 2000’s hits, local vendors and food.

Humble Flower Fest

This inaugural event will feature beautiful floral displays, local vendors, live entertainment and family activities. Previously, the Humble Parks Department’s annual plant sale was held as part of the annual Good Oil Days Festival.

Gather & Grow Student Spring Festival

Hosted by Home Run Ministries, this event will showcase student project displays, live student performances and interactive academic booths. The event will also feature food available for purchase and an interactive photo booth fundraiser.

Derby Dreams Gala

Hosted by Lake Houston Outreach, this Kentucky Derby-themed gala will feature virtual horse races, food, drinks and raffles.

Spike’s Spring Carnival

This event will feature carnival rides, music, concessions, a raffle and silent auction. Proceeds will benefit future PTA-sponsored programming for the rebuilt Foster Elementary, which is slated to reopen in August.

Kingwood Anime/Food Festival

Enjoy an anime festival with food from a variety of Asian cuisines and 100 unique vendors featuring anime merchandise and collectibles. The event will include a cosplay competition, a ramen-eating contest, a voice actor impression contest, a lion dance and live entertainment.

Creativity Rocks – OZ!

Creativity Shell’s 11th annual fashion show fundraiser will showcase the “Wizard of Oz”-inspired works of the nonprofit’s young designers. The event will also include a buffet dinner and dancing.

Hosted by the Kailee Mills Foundation, this seventh annual golf tournament supports the foundation’s mission to reduce fatality and injury from non-seat belt use and provide financial and emotional support to families experiencing loss from vehicle accidents.
